End Of The Month Wrap Up
This evening’s entry is going to be incoherent, so buckle up.
I can’t understand why the legislative and executive branches of government seem content to mollycoddle illegal aliens. Too many of America’s so-called leaders seem to have forgotten that people who are in the U.S. illegally don’t belong here, or are willing to gloss over that fact for the sake of political expediency.
As a reminder, America is a sovereign nation with immigration laws. Millions upon millions of people are living and working in America in violation of all of them.
I’ll take my lumps for using what may strike some as racist, xenophobic language, but these people have no business being here. As such, they should have no rights if they are. Nevertheless, they are marching en masse in cities across America, waving flags and singing America’s national anthem in whatever languages they see fit.
Last year illegal aliens decided to force the issue and marched in Washington, D.C., the nation’s capitol, to demand citizenship. America is criticised and hated by many, often deservedly so, but is there another country on earth where that could have happened without a lot of people being killed and seriously injured?
Can you imagine illegal aliens marching in Moscow, Beijing, London, Paris or Barcelona singing the “host” country’s national anthem in a foreign language and waving flags of other countries, talking about their rights?
When all illegal immigrants and located, processed, deported and prevented from re-entering the country, then I’ll take the American government seriously when it talks about immigration reform. Until then, no mas.

Like most people, I’m trying to understand why it seems that men have decided killing their families is a good look. I don’t mean to make light of mothers and children being murdered, but between Christopher Vaughn, Bobby Cotts, Jr. and Chris Benoit, I’m afraid to drink the water.
A week or so ago, I explained to two female acquaintances that women might be better off going it alone. Marriage and motherhood both seem to be risky propositions with little upside and a terminal downside. I wouldn’t sign up if I were them. I’m a man and I haven’t signed up.
But I’m not going to place the onus on women entirely. What I will say is that women have too much to lose not to be far more careful about them men they allow into their lives. Domestic violence is nothing new but it seems to me that men are going from being jealous/possessive/enraged/whatever straight to murder. What happened to picking a fight? Or how about just having a talk?
I think something that would deter men from killing women and children, as well as most crime, would be a system of justice that was based on an eye for an eye. I believe in the death penalty, so this should come as no suprise to anyone. But as an extension of the death penalty, the penal system should be expanded to mete out punishment that mirrors the crime committed.
I read tonight of a man who broke into a woman’s house, bound her, beat her, raped her, slit her eyelids, boiled water in a tea kettle and scalded her repeatedly. As if that wasn’t enough, he robbed her.
Thankfully the victim lived and it seems that she’ll be all right, at least physically. But as for her attacker, as far as I’m concerned, he’s an animal who doesn’t deserve due process. He should be jailed, bound, beaten and raped. His eyelids should be slit. He should be made to hear a tea kettle blow and then scalded repeatedly, as many times as he scalded his victim. If he has any assets, they should go to his victim. And then, only if he apologises, he should spend the rest of his days in solitary confinement. And I mean all of his days. Not 23 hours a day with an hour to exercise and bathe. 24 hours locked in a room with no windows and flourescent lighting that never goes off. If he can’t bring himself to apologise, char broil that azz.
Vaughn, Cotts, Benoit and all other criminals should be made to suffer the same fate their victims suffered.
What I propose isn’t civilised. I don’t intend it to be. It’s barbaric, just like a man who’d kill a woman who was carrying his child. It’s time for punishment that actually serves as a deterrent rather than a free ride that guarantees inmates three square meals a day, shelter, clothing, medical and dental care for the rest of their lives. There are hard working, law abiding citizens who don’t have all of those things. The savings from ending the lives of criminals who ended their victims lives could (and should) be spent on people who somehow manage to live within society’s rules of law and order.

What is the story with everyone yelling, “real talk”? I heard one of my guys use that phrase oh, about a year and a half ago. The next thing I knew, I caught myself using it. From time to time I use it now but I’m about to stop because everyone says it.
I’m in line at Walgreen’s the other day, about to buy a bag of chips and a drink. A woman (I think) who was behind me says, “Them fire. I’m from Louisiana. I ate them all the time growing up. Them fire. Real talk.”
Wow … all of that, huh? About some chips? I’m over real talk.
